Wanted - Bulkhead Removal Bar
I'm looking for a value for money bulkhead removal bar to allow the seats to move further back. The vehicle is fitted with a Safety Devices cage, therfore it doesn't need to be bomb-proof.

Any advice on suppliers (as prices vary massively) and how involved it is would be gratefully recieved.

James Thumbs Up

PS This is for my own vehicle and not in any way connected with the dealership! Wink

Thanks Grockle! I've just read the instructions and it looks like even I could fit it.

One question though........ They mention the extended runners (mud rails) to increase the leg room, however from the pictures I'm not convinced that the base could actually go any further back than it currently does. I'm happy that the seat back will go back further, however not so sure about the base. If it does work then I'd get some rails too.

The mud rails are good, however, it can depend on how tall you are...

i'm 6'5", and although the extra legroom was a godsend, i found that the extra height that the mud rails gave (only 3/4" or so) was enough to make me end up looking at the sun visor instead of through the windscreen, so i took them off.

The bulkhead removal kit is great though, i fitted one to my 90. you just need a decent pop rivet gun as there's quite a lot of them to fit (an air-rivet gun makes things nice and easy)

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'm 6'3" so although I'm tall I hope that the extra height won't be an issue. I do have a 'top-tint' screen so may have to compromise somewhere along the line.

Will perhaps post some pics when it's done.
