Paddocks did the same with 'Frontrunner'. Yes trade will be a certain price- but as Chris has mentioned- Say you want to buy 100/ 200/ 300 items @ £200 today and more than likely they will take you up on the offer. They won' order them in as and when they sell (like most companies)- they will all be stacked up on a shelf in a warehouse somewhere.

i appreitiate and understand that Bow down

but it still doesnt answer why a reputable company has stopped using them ??? all i can say is they must have had problems ? Rolling Eyes

With that I would say it comes down to production.

If you are producing 100 intercoolers a month (Ball park figure as I have no idea how many they manufacture) to supply the industry and suddenly a retailer request a huge order (paddocks would have probably bought over 1000 to get such a good deal).

You have to either

A. Overwork your workforce and standards will drop
OR
B. Employ more people (minimum wage) and the standards again will drop.

*EDIT* or C- contract the work out at the cheapest price............ and standards will probably drop again*

With a company like Garry 's it all all about quality (which commands the good price- as with other companies, BAS, Alisport etc) if your standards drop and the price stays the same an Awesome name that has taken 10-15 years to make can be ruined in a few months.
