If you've had it serviced the level and concentration of it should hopefully have been checked. As we are heading into warmer weather and it's just a pint water will be fine in my opinion!
Pink/blue it doesn't make any real difference in my book, but blue is easier to spot in the event of a leak/seap from pipework. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Sounds like the engine management system has been working fine.
Bet you did not see any noticeable rise in temperature on the chocolate fire guard of a L R temp gauge? What age/ mileage on vehicle? Top up with water will be fine as long as coolant concentration level is correct before next cold spell! Advice used to be do not mix coolants as there might be a reaction between the different coolants. How true or not that is I do not know. Fingers crossed it is a loose hose clip/ split hose but be prepared to If it is more serious. We got LR to contribute BUT it still hurt. Brendan |

Fekete, don't fall into the trap of assuming its the head gasket, I have had one where the egr cooler split and leaked internally, had exactly your symptoms, remove egr cooler from rear of the head and pressure test it, very easy to do, and the part was quite cheap. hope this helps (even though last time I posted on here your were being a proper nob!) |
