Bit of spray oil. Get it nice and warm before fitting.

washing up liquid is better than oil as it cleans off a lot quicker and some oils can eat the rubber.

forgot to say rubber mount is still attached to exhaust itself

Boil a kettle and pour over mounting rubber.
It should make it flexible enough to pull off old exhaust. ![]() |
