I have no problems with the ABS in combination with snow but can't you pull out the fuse of the ABS?
I know they do it in the dunes. |

Using snow chains on the road is illegal in the UK isn't it?
Compulsory on the continent in certain areas but you'll get stopped for wearing them here. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

No, its only illegal to use them if the road surface isn't covered in snow or ice. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

i guess if it was that bad that you had snow chains on in england then the police would be to busy thanking you for clearing the traffic

Best chains available, I have them for my ROW spec 06 110, nothing is a problem.
