I like the idea, looks a little 'rough' around the edges though!

Belts and shoes are made of leather, not Defender dash components Exclamation

Doesn't looking the lid sits flush once closed, that was my concern in the first instance. Does the Nak one close properly Glynn?

Once closed there are no gaps around the edge.

I was tempted to get a locking one when people started talking about it but I think getting one with a lock would be counter-productive as this one is soo stealthy. Unless you know about it you wouldn't even think to open it!

Mine has now been on for about 3 years and gets opened and cloesd pretty much every day as my iPod lead from the stereo goes into the glovebox (keeps the ipod off the dash and secure so it can stay plugged in for short stops). It isn't showing any signs of damage or even any play in it.

If you are ordering direct from Peter I could be interested in a few bits if you would be so kind to pop it in the post Wink . Will then say thankyou with a few beers when I am traveling through in Jul/Aug time Thumbs Up

Oh, and H (ASM 35ENGR) will probably be interested in a few bits so could save on postage/ couple of pennies for fuel costs.

Thanks for all the nice comments about our (Mobile Storage Systems) glove box.

Just thought I'd make you all aware of the instructional video we have created now to aid in installation. Shouldnt take much longer than 15-20 minutes and if installed correctly will fit flush with the dashboard almost unnoticeable to the untrained eye.

Anyway heres a link to our installation video for everyone

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2TAvn5JVJU

If you would like to you can purchase one from our website http://www.mobilestoragesystems.net/land-r...s-pgb.html

Loads of information about our Glove Box on there as well as pictures, testimonials, fitting instructions both paper and video.

I just bought a MSS Puma Glove box conversion from FCX. The video was more helpful than the instructions. I'm not very 'handy' but it wasn't difficult to do. However you may need some specialist tools (T30 torx driver, some nose-end cutters etc).

My main feedback was the screws supplied were silver and not black. This means the conversion didn't blend with the rest of the fixings in the dash. The sizes of the top (lid) screws were also very small, this is because its the only way the new lid will close if you follow their advice in re-using the original Torx screws inside the box.

Although the general fit and quality is good, I think the fixings could be finessed a bit, especially to blend in with the torx screws used elsewhere in the truck. 2015 110 XS CSW Montalcino Red with Black Pack

Thanks for the feedback.

We have already started putting black screws into the latest Glove Box fitting kits as we felt it needed doing too to give a better finish.

I fitted the MSS glove box kit in mine. But I bonded the metal plate to the top lid very securely. I used some black mastic of the correct density. Therefore the top fixing screws are not needed I cut down the original Torx screws and fitted them with a touch of glue in the original holes. Looks perfectly original now.
