Save the rants for elsewhere guys, JLR have many different engineering departments and this is not the sole focus of the whole company. So try and keep some perspective and remember that they are looking at this as well as a whole load of other areas
It's perfectly OK to answer that you don't know/care what words mean or that you don't think certain features should be in a Defender, remember that the survey covers all LR products (up to the Range Rover) and therefore certain aspects will not or might not apply (in your own opinion) to Defender. Answer honestly, otherwise you can't complain if the next Defender arrives with a whizz-bang media system when you actually wanted an AM radio LR are trying to engage with owners here, everyone moans that they don't listen and when they do there are still complaints that they are not asking the right questions! You have Kelly's contact details if you want to feed back any issues, concerns or areas for improvement, these folks do listen, just see Liam's involvement on DISCO3/DISCO4 for details 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Sorry Martin, but not a rant.
LR puts out a questionnaire on a DEFENDER based forum basically asking what radio to fit in Land Rovers. I would argue that LR should sort out the basic issues with Land Rovers. For Defenders these would include issues such as reliability, corrosion, security, training of their dealerships, build quality etc. Now since LR has NOT taken any notice of such IMPORTANT issues will they really take any notice on a survey about what radio to fit? Now can the Social Media Team at LR get LR to understand that it needs to sort out basic issues such as corrosion? If they can then they can move onto the secondary issues such as radios. The Defender is an iconic vehicle and recognised the world over as a Land Rover and is the torch bearer for LR. Brendan |

“Oh boy. I'm afraid I gave up at 'what does infotainment mean?'”
I’m afraid I gave up at “ideas which may find there way into our vehicles…” If they can’t be bothered to master English spelling, I can’t be bothered to waste my time reading further. Peter |

I don't think LR agree with you there. Visit the main LR website and see what vehicle is missing from the photo lineup... http://www.landrover.com/gl/en/lr/marketsel |

That's only because the Defender isn't available in the US, so it's not shown on the GLOBAL website. Is it on www.landrover.co.uk - oh yes it is
If LR didn't care about the Defender it would be long out of production by now, stop being so negative 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Rather than fitting in techy bits I think the rear door stay needs some adjustment from the factory that would be a good start. No Guts, No Glory.
