I added that it is all irrelevant since it will rely on some sort of network coverage and round here that simply does not exist!

Got to agree with Landroveranorak what the is INFOTAINMENT what sort of question is that. Obviously by the way the questions are asked they are looking at spicing up the ICE in the cars. Half of which you cant use whilst driving.
If you want apps, and the likes get a freelander, disco and RR. I bought the 90 for the back to basic driving and without having to program a computer before driving off. The way things are going with electronics within 6 months of purchase it would need up grading or would not "talk" to the new technology, so would be costing to upgrade as you get nothing for nothing these days God i am starting to sound like my father Also wheres my free pen or clock radio for filling out the questions And now steps off soap box and takes a deep breath |

Strange questionnaire, but if this is what Land Rover think their future customers are all about, we might as well buy BMWs now. Scary..!

Blimey. After all that I feel very old (I'm 46!) and most definitely well outside their intended type if customer. Oh well it looks like I'll be keeping my TD5 for a lot longer (206,000 so far)... Dave

Got half way through but didn't really see the point to be honest. I don't think the questions have been that well put together. Asking people what they think words mean is verging on patronising. I really don't think that questionnaire will provide anyone with any particularly useful information. Oh, and questions should have a question mark at the end of them.
Clearly I'm in a grumpy mood today! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green |

Done also!
Just a comment. Here, were a good Internet Connection are scarce outside the big cities, relies in a 100% connected car could be very problematic. Cheers Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |

Had a quick read of that survey and did NOT respond. WHY? Because it is a survey done by someone trying to justify their job and not trying to get REAL information. Did that survey come out of your ENGINEERING department? Personally I would sack that section of the ENGINEERING department which dreamt up that survey. Would I play games in a Defender. NO I am too busy DRIVING it. Get the LR ENGINEERING department to sort out REAL problems. Such as POOR build quality Rubbish paint finish. Floor pans which have more holes in then a sieve Badly positioned clips on heater/coolant hoses so they abrade hoses. Head gaskets which can not do 30,000 miles. Door hinges which are made out of monkey metal. Sort out corrosion problems When your ENGINEERING department has solved the REAL problems which affect its customers who pay their wages then they can ask silly questions. I am sure the list above could be readily expanded upon by other Land Rover owners. Brendan |
