Why? Just why?.....
Although i want those wheels, I'd struggle to live with the colours. Looks like killer90 has been at the dash... |

What a shame. The doors are a different colour silver too.

Changed my mind after looking again.... looks good from far, but far from good Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty.. Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be! Last edited by taffrican on 28th Mar 2013 12:44am. Edited 1 time in total |

I'm wondering what happens to the wheel arches when it goes into a pot hole or over a speed hump, on those "proffesoinally compressed" springs..
The stupid lowering (especially to that ridiculous extent) is a dreadful thing to do to a Defender, but the finish of the overall look is also dreadful (even providing for differences in 'taste') - mismatched doors (no excuse for not getting the newer doors resprayed) - badly cut and fitted carpet in the load space - poorly fitting seat squab on the rear bench seat - bench seat in the first place Whole thing is Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |

I don't think Mr Fawcett will be too chuffed that's going under Twisted livery! Talk about brand devaluation! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

It would be interesting to know if Twisted have any record of this vehicle, somehow I doubt it. Did anyone else notice that it doesn't have any sills? They haven't been replaced with rock sliders, it just doesn't have any. That combined with the mismatched doors, Puma bonnet and weird interior (especially the single bench seat in the back) really do make it look like a South Yorkshire special. It comes from the right area too. The only thing it's going for it is the air con unit suggesting it started life as an XS, but it could just be that there's a bit of XS in there somewhere! Perhaps it is someone's pride and joy, but the truth is it's a total dog. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

This Landroer started out life as a x-tech panel van, in 2009 it was taken to Twisted Performance where it had thousands spent on it to RUIN it into the vehicle it is today, also in 2009 it was entered into the worlds fastest landrover competition where it finshed in the top ten (LAST) |

Looks a lot like many of the Twisted land rovers of the time. It's only in the last few years that people have been giving them silly money for a £10,000 retrim that they have started to look any better, even if they still only go half as well as they claim.
I love that the seller has written the BHP figure as claimed by twisted. More sense than nmost of the sellers on ebay that think a remap gives the 180 BHP. www.td5.org |
