Blackvue PC Software needed
I have a Blackvue DR300G camera in my Defender. I have recently changed my PC and cannot locate the software for the PC to view the videos on the SD card. I can find the Blackvue HD software for Windows, but not the basic version. Was wondering if anyone had it on their PC and could email it to me, or failing that a link if one exists?

Thanks

Steve

Don't know about the 300, but my 400 had the software loaded on the SD card. Barney

Does the updated version not work with yours?

I thought that if you formatted the sd card, when you next put it in the blackview, it re-loaded all the software.

Must admit, I've never tried it. Barney

The firmware to operate the camera is located on the SD card. The PC software is used to set it up. Once you insert the SD card it works off those settings. I need the PC software to so it though!

Unless you've got an odd/clone BlackVue, BarneyRubble is right - if you put a blank SD card in a BlackVue then when it's powered up the camera will initialise the card and copy the viewer software etc to the SD card.

You do indeed carry out firmware updates via the SD card, but the actual firmware the camera uses is stored on the BV camera.

I have a 300G and swap cards over without having to load anything onto each card first, and the software appears on the card after the initalisation Smile
