So far about 5 or 6 inches not too far from Uttoxeter, but there's more coming.

Had some funny looks when I got to Burton where there's very little snow, but the truck was still covered. Craig Rogers

Im in Burton and you are right, only a light dusting. Where is the snow as we are going out for a drive and walk and wanting to find some. Was thinking of heading towards Buxton.

Buxton's looking good for snow, but it seems to be melting fast already. Just checked the cameras at home and starting to look slushy already. Craig Rogers

3" of wet stuff here in Wales. Please do not wish any more on us poor farmers in the middle of lambing. All around me there are dozens of new born lambs dying every day in this weather. I am fortunate that mine are in sheds and won't be going anywhere till there is an improvement. I may however, run out of feed before then and unless I can buy more then they will starve. Another 2 weeks of this and things will be getting very very grim across the UKs sheep farms, believe me.

Coming down still but main hassle is drifting. Looking out the front I can see the top of the grass in a lot of places and the smart has nothing on the roof at all but then in other places there are drifts which look to be a couple of foot deep. I can see onto the road below us and it is totally white with no traffic on it at all.
Worst of all though, school is closed, there have been two snow days this year both of them on days when I don't work. As the Deputy Head says, the Gods of Weather don't like me.
Am in serious need of some spring sunshine.
