Ostrich awning
I saw this awning time ago , and is the one that i like the better, seem easy to open and close and quite sturdy.

Anyone fitted this awning in the car?

Regards

Ok, might sound a bit daft but do you mean the Ostrich awning?

Believe it is made by Big Country and retails for about Ģ1,000

Then there is the Rhino Rack/Oztent Foxwing

Will not mention the Batwing, Hawkwing etc

I have had one of these Ostrich Wing awnings fitted to my Defender 110. It is probably the best add on that I have ever bought for the Landy. Fast to open up, less than a minute and about the same to put away. Defender 110 "Huberta"

Wow! That is awesome! Too expensive unfortunately Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:

Looks good indeed, and that speed to deploy itīs the best characteristic for me.

How long you use it Gwily any negative point at all.

Yes Dave price seem to be the issue however worse case will be MIG time.

Cheers

I have had it since December 2010.
Small issues that when it rains the water pools on it a bit and re-inforced material where the little upright aluminium bracket goes does not align properly.
But maybe it is better 3 years down the line.
I did not pay anywhere near the amount that you quoted but it was not cheap that's for shure. Defender 110 "Huberta"

Hannibal are also self supporting:

but can't help thinking a simple one of these is far more versatile and alot more cost effective:

We just supplied one to a Norwegian customer but I think LPI in Belgium is your closet dealer.
