always difficult, especially with tyres as you say. I just thought that the Duratrac was quite a new tyre, probably excellent; but if you want a known quantity you cant really go wrong if you get the Cooper STT or BFG KM2. Obviously they are both mud tyres, whereas the duratrac is more like an AT tyre with closer lugs etc, so probably worse at self cleaning.
Ive got Cooper STT on mine and havent had any drama with them. decent (within reason) on road and excellent off road until you get into the really gloopy stuff where you need something more extreme like an Insa Turbo.
