I'm sorry but I DON'T agree with you sticking a TDI in, you have ruined a very original 90 Mad I go round the classic car shows and land rover shows and I've yet to seen an ORIGINAL 90 or 110 with its ORIGINAL engine in!!!!! Sad

The only reason I have changed the engine is because the original 2.5 n/a petrol block was cracked so I had a spare 200tdi block to put in which is more powerful and I want a land rover to drive instead of a Censored ford fiesta. I'm going to rebuild the original engine with a new block and put it back in when I sell it. Thumbs Up. 2003 TD5 90

And I completely disagree with that!!

Yes its a nice early 90, yes its getting unusual with its original engine. Its not unique, its not special, its not particually rare.

Its his 90, nothing is reversable if he wants to change it back (I hope he doesnt, he's doing a very nice job on it!) Thumbs Up

Cheers mate Thumbs Up 2003 TD5 90

And anyway.... LR offered the 200Tdi as a retrofit kit, so it's kind of "original" in so much as it could have been converted by a dealership.

It fits on the same mounts and its very similar to the 2.5 n/a. Its not like I've ruined the land rover just made it more suited to my needs 2003 TD5 90
