Ill give this a bash, not very good at explaining things.

For the general td5 NNN cruise control wiring I followed

http://www.landyonline.co.za/landyforum/vi...amp;t=3230

Fairly good description.

Now for those with the overdrive/disco transfer gears, my understanding is that it won't work because the pulse rate from the speedo entering the ecu, when compared with the engine revs lies outside of parameters set by landrover.

So to cure this we have to reduce the pulse rate entering the ecu, but not the speedo on the dash.

You need to locate the speedo wire, I found the following useful to itemise what each pin does.

http://www.lro.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=59898

You now need a photo of the plug showing which pin is which.

Not sure how clear the photo is but if you google td5 ecu plug diagram and click on images youll get it, this also gives a simple schematic of wiring up the cc.

The Speedohealer looks like this;

Basically you can alter the pulse rate as a percentage of that entering it. Iirc I reduced the pulse rate by 15% and it's working perfect 6 months or so now.

The wiring diagram for the Speedohealer comes with, basic, snip the speedo wire enter the ecu, connect the Speedohealer in line and give it power from somewhere, I just took it from the fuse box.

This doesn't effect the speed shown on the dash.

I used an on-off switch and an electric window switch I picked up on eBay for operating the cc. Put these on the front of the cubby box.

I probably left out bits, it's a while since I did it, any questions throw them up (and I'll ignore the hard ones Rolling with laughter )

Just found this on my computer

So it's B13 that needs to be interrupted by the Speedohealer to have pulses within parameters accepted as normal by file in ecu.
