![]() Considering the grilles both do the same job and 'looks' is my preference the second metal grille looks a tad 'tinpot' and 'homemade' to me. The first grille is my personal preference. Both canopys need to burn for my liking. But no its the grills . The metal one looks home made because it is as i can't seem to find a sensibly priced stage one one. They are all way over priced. I had thought about fitting a plastic series 3 grill but that is not as easy as it sounds. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon. |

Option 1, normal plastic grill, anytime.
I don't have a problem with metal ones, if they are on Series Land Rovers of the right age, or on a Stage 1, but Stage 1's were never badged 'Defender' and were either 109 or 88 inch. Therefore any attempt at a look-alike on a Defender 90 is just wrong to me! ![]() Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |

Feel that i have to stand my ground re the lamp finishers as the big plastic jobs look way too heavy and the military finish is too bare. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon. |

If done with the proper grill then option 2 would look pretty good, IMHO. I've always had a soft spot for Stage 1's though. Darren

Option 1 - it looks chunky and solid, like the vehicle
![]() The second one looks like a gaping hole someone covered with an oven grill ![]() But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
