Simple wheel painting for a simpleton
Right I've always wanted black wheels but I'm a bear of little brains and means.......So what is the easiest/cheapest way to change my standard boost from silver to black?

I don't care if they come up matt or gloss but I want a good finish.

Would that spray film be an option?

Take 'em to the powder-coater.

Bit of a faff finding a set to use in the mean time and taking off/putting back tires, re-balancing etc but it's worth it in the end.

Or rub them down, wash (sugar soap is a good idea), etching prime them, spray them your favorite colour and then laquer over the top. Thumbs Up

Probably won't be as hard wearing and you might end up re-doing it, but won't cost much and can be done with the tyre still on, just mask it all up. Craig Rogers

I want to put some SVX side rails on and tint the rear windows (so the kids and dogs don't fry) - I love the black and green look.

+1 Not only that re-fitting and removing tyre's can be expensive! Probably more so than the actual powder coating.... $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
