DVD ripping software?
Anyone got a good reccomendation for DVD software? I've got some DVD's and want to convert them to either .mov or .wmv, or .flv files so i can play them in the carPC in the 110 (main one is Skyfall I bought wast week on DVD!)

Been looking at software but all the "free" downloads only copy 3 minutes worth unless you upgrade for £30 odd.

I prefer free. anyone "lend" me a copy? (I'll swap it for a ripped Skyfall) Whistle

cheers

not sure if this will help but the VLC free light weight 'player' also has the ability to save and change formats. I have saved DVD's to my laptop and then converted to a different format.

I use DVDFab for DVDs and BluRays - been using it for years now. They now do a lifetime upgrade option

The best DVD ripping software is Handbrake, used to be just for Mac but now works on most O/S.

I use Handbrake, it's free and really easy to use. There is a mac and pc version.

I haven't found one piece of software that works for all DVDs. Some combination of DVDShrink, DVDDecrypter and Handbrake usually does the trick.

So far DVDFab has been able to do all the DVDs I had that handbrake couldn't cope with
