I like the idea, but can't help but think it looks like a prisoner transporter that's crashed through IKEA.

United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Stornoway Grey
An interesting vehicle, genuine 6x6, and undoubtedly a top-quality conversion, but I can't help but feel that it should have been built on a Mog not a Defender.

Performance must be mediocre (300TDi), manoeuverability minimal, the kerb weight must be very high, the payload very low, and the offroad capability generally awful. I have always felt that anyone who feels the need to add an axle to a Defender should really have bought a bigger vehicle in the first place, since they seldom work well.

But it is undoubtedly very eye-catching!

That would make a great vehicle for taking stock to Land Rover shows ....

When its taxed next week anyone is welcome to have a gander and drive. It's obviously a heavy beast, but drives surprisingly well. 300tdi copes admirably, though long term a 2.8 tgv or a nice big jap engine would be the ideal choice.
But it's not really built for speed, it will sit at 70mph on the motorway quite happily, with a change down required on the longer drags.

It's always going to divide opinion, which in my mind is great Very Happy life would be very dull if we all liked the same things!
I would make someone a fantastic advertising tool, you cannot hide in it and if I stop somewhere, i Usually have to add allow 30mims for "chat"!

A picture of an iveco van is a bit harsh Laughing

Sadly my 6x6 tipper may also be up for sale soon, that would make a great overland vehicle with a quad tech type box on the back as its 110 based rather than 130 and has the chunky fd35t lumpin it...

I've asked the wife but I'm not too hopeful Sad Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

I agree. A bigger base vehicle. I saw this in Norway a couple of years ago when it nearly ran over my tent:

This 6x6 looks like it's had a lot of love poured into it though.
