Tappets on 200 tdi- engine warm or cold?
I'm gonna do the tappets on my 200 tdi 90, does it matter if I adjust the tappets with the engine cold or warm? does it make any difference really? Confused

...........and just to add a little confusion, my Defender owner's handbook says that they can be checked hot or cold, but my copy of the official workshop manual states that they should be checked cold!
