I reckon that report must be a good 5-8 years old now (just simply as it talks about the Disklok being the 2003 champion).
I wonder how much these things have actually moved on and is there a more date comparison? For example, Thatcham only approve the Metro Stoplok pro at the moment (they deleted the Disklok from the approved list a while back) but on the auto express report, it's compared to the Disklok and the Stoplok Ultima. I still think the Disklok is a useful bit of kit but like all these locks, needs to be used in conjunction with other layers Thatcham link http://www.thatcham.org/security/pdfs/cate...arCAT3.pdf Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

I actually had to buy my Ultima second-hand from a car-hire company. Haven't seen one since.
I think it's so f ing large, I doubt most people would want to store one in their cars - not a good selling point. Seriously visual deterrent though Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Click image to enlarge It's almost too big to squeeze in (Mr. Everett)... Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
