Great stuff mate.

The diamond plate on rear door is something I need to get done since I use mine for work I keep all my tools in the back so it would help protect the door from anything that might fall against it.

Lovely truck though.

Cheers mate , yer the original door card didn't hold up that well to having my bikes tools and dog chucked in and out of back this is much more substantial, I got the whole kit from rebal 4x4 if your looking but seen it cheaper on eBay since

It's a " truck bed liner" spray I got in a can from halfords it's a sort of textured non slip finish. There is a closer up picture of it on page 2 where I used it for the threshold thing.

Good idea since gloss would only show up scratches anyway, definitely black over silver, silver looks a bit chincy in my opinion.

Incase any one is interested thought I would do a quick update.
Been meaning to make some side panels for ages still need to cover them with some sort of material, which is why I didn't make the joints nice. But they fit well and don't rattle Thumbs Up

Looks great, what are you planning to cover them with? Carpet? An engine to TDi for!

Great looking truck mate Thumbs Up

I suggest moving the bonnet switch (which you may have done by now) as it's far too easy to reach the cable through the grill .....

Great thread Stoney.

What about this for the sides?

I did the back of mine with this and it worked really well.

Got my inspiration from RRUK'S thread.
