Does a broken clutch suddenly fix itself?????
Hunters of Guildford seem to think so!!!... Censored , was recovered in on Saturday they seem to think its ok now Shocked

The clutch biting point is now in the carpet, litterally lift your foot off the floor 5mm and its back in, struggling to get it into 2nd, fluid levels are fine and there are no leaks, any suggestions?, is there a adjuster anywhere? You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things

One of the coil springs in the clutch plate may have become dislodged and has trapped its self in the lever mechanism. Does is make a clunk clunk clunk noise when you turn the vehicle off.

Random (ie not Defender) Clutch Plate with 6 coil springs these become week and fall out in the Defender Clutch.

Mine did (the pedal returned to normal) - though the dealers did something to it anyway (or at least say they did) - see my post on your other thread.

that'll be the dual mass flywheel springs falling out, getting stuck then breaking up and freeing off for a while.

it'll do it again, as long as you've got the symptons logged
