Has anyone experienced the General Grabber AT2? I'm considering swapping my TRs over to AT2s on delivery (I gather they're virtually the same price). I'll be using them as everyday tyres + sand/dirt/light gravel, but I'd like the option of getting into some heavier stuff, hence the desire to have All Terrain tyres. If so, my questions are:
(a) Are the AT2s much noisier than than the TRs? (b) Is the wet-road grip acceptable? (c) Are there MUCH better AT tyre options I should be looking at? Are the AT2s good enough or garbage (I'm reading conflicting reports)? While I don't want to go out of my way to spend extra $$$ I have no problem buying something that is significantly better. I've done all the requisite research on these and other tyres, but I'm keen to hear from actual owners of AT2s and TRs. AT2 better off-road than the TR, TR better for mileage than AT2, both the same on the tarmac with no difference in noise levels and both the same price at present in the U.K.

It's not so much the tyres I'm concerned with - I've other cars to play with off-road.
What really gets me is the horendous turning circle or the standard alloys. |

30mm Alloy spacers and turn the lock stops off all the way, works with 265 75 16's a treat, for the 285 75 16's with offset alloys and no spacers they need adjusting again, but not by much, mine turns in more than acceptable places unlike the Wifes Volvo V70, which is, how shall I put this, ! 2019 MY Disco 5 HSE Lux

Rick, I live in Perth and have AT2's on my TDV6 SE D3 - brilliant tyre; did 4500km off road trip with 6 tyres and not one puncture (typical isnt it - take 2 spares and use neither!). On road - very quiet indeed.
