Might restrict the airflow to the radiator.
There's nothing anybody can do to make me like those grills, but each to thier own... My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk 110 TD5 BuildHERE - sold! 110 Tdci Build HERE - sold! Passat Alltrack - 4x4, auto, 45mpg, gloriously comfortable - but not a Defender! |

I like that addition
I'm undecided about changing to that sort of grill, but yours looks a lot nicer than the standard kbx - good work DJ 1989 200tdi 90 csw 2011 110 usw Orkney grey Buy British 🇬🇧 Defender Clothing Designs available at http://www.rangesports.com/acatalog/Defender-Stuff.html |

I think it looks better than normal KBX but would keep an eys on the temperature gauge and it may effect the performance of the air con and intercooler, DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

May be I'm missing something but the silver colour mesh looks like it is almost totally blocking the airflow (more than the radiators behind?) - can you take a close up of the mesh with a steel rule for scale? I don't fancy your chances much to get fly 4rse out of there when we get summer.
Looks very neat though |

That looks great.... Would you consider doing the lower grill to match?
As for cooling...... this is mine: Click image to enlarge[/img] The temp here during the winter sits at about 10-15 DegC, and then 40-45 DegC in the summer (figures are in the shade). I have at no point had heat soak or any overheating problems in the past 2 years. That grill should have more than enough flow due to so many holes in it. The KBX Premium comes as standard with a stainless mesh albeit with a larger mesh arrangement. You can just make it out on the photo..... Nice lights Glyn...... Like the intercooler grille Clemmo..... Click image to enlarge If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
