Wales 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS DCPU Tonga Green
Wanted: Spare wheel bracket.
Good morning gents (and ladies),

With many of you fitting swing away spare wheel carriers has anyone got the original take off available for me to purchase?

Here is the hard bit- Also needing it posted to a BFPO address- so need to be willing to box it up and take to the post office as only parcelforce will send it (I am allowed up to 30Kg). Or even better if someone is in the Bedford/ Hitching area?

Cheers in advance,
Glyn Dog Sheep

I'm going to be listing my 2010 XS USW for sale this week, if the buyer is happy to have the mantec (and I don't see why not) then mine will be going spare.
Obviously if something turns up sooner go for it-but the 110 will be keenly priced so should go quickly. He who dies with the most toys...wins!

Glyn, not sure what this parcelforce means, but if it is something that works from outside UK, meaning from Switzerland, I would be happy to give you mine free of charge. It is just gathering dust, as new and totally rustfree, and last but not least, it is a SVX take off, so a premium product Whistle
If that parcelforce works from here, let me know please.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Andy,

The unit I am with has close ties to a unit near you. They send me equipment out every couple of months so could just get them to put it in the box so then there is no need to bother the Royal Mail Wink.... and you wont have to box it up etc. I will speak to my contacts today and see if they have any shipments coming out in the next month.

Cheers Eric.

Parcellforce is basically 'Royal Mail' but do the packages. Being in the forces abroad I get a British Forces Post Office 'BFPO' address. Anything posted to any BFPO number goes to a sorting station in West London where it is then put on flights to destinations around the world.... Cyprus, Germany, Canada, Afghanistan etc. It sometimes sucks as if someone in Greece wants to post me something they have to post it to the UK and then it sent back out to me........ We aren't allowed to use the civilian address for the camp for some messed up reason Rolling Eyes. Also, most courier services won't deliver to BFPO Rolling Eyes

Thanks all above for offers Very Happy Much appreciated.... will get you all a drink at the local watering hole if I am ever passing by (Eric, probably passing you in July/ Aug time if you are around).
