Don't buy a windows 7 tablet. I've got a collection of tablets here which have been disguarded by our business as unusable. This has been the case every time I have tried to introduce tables over the last 10 years.
It's always the UI which is at blame. Windows 7 is fine on a laptop. It's just not designed to work with a single point of contact or gestures. |

Always found Ebuyer to be decent value - bought a few bits from them and they've always been good. 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU

I assume you are going to use this for remapping, hence 7. If so have look at a used toughbooks and see what you think.
You'll benefit from ability to drop it without it dying working around cars that often, no matter how careful you are, you are probably going to drop it |

I have a Dell netbook running a full version of windows 7 if your interested. Its got full version of office as well and a soft case. Its been used but is in pretty good condition with only a few minor scratches but the screen is perfect.
Let me know if you want any pics or specs. Pete. |

If it has to be new.... but with Windows 7.... could you not just buy new (with Windows , and then install Windows 7 plus required drivers?
I love my toughbook- it's last adventure was it jumping out of the scooter basket at 40Km/h and sliding down the road. A few scratches and a gouge but still booted straight up and works just fine. Mine is running XPpro which in many ways is soo much better than 7 (mainly when in tablet function). Glyn |
