285/75/16 are the biggest you can put on, but legally you can only put 265 on a 7j rim Thumbs Up
Here's a pic of Sonics old truck with 285 on it on Boost

As Fekete says you can squeeze in a 285/75 but you do really need 8" rims but they still fit OK

Hi all!

I will put the BFGs 285/75 in my 90, on original boost rims, but I don't know if I put the Mud or All terrains, I drive a lot on road, the mud's make a lot of noise? or not so much to be worried about??
The all terrains are much simple and have almost no off road capabilityes,
so what you say???

regards

Both are good on and of road, but if you drive a lot on the road i'd go with the all terrain but if you want the aggressive look go with the muds, i'v put the Cooper discoverer STT on mine and they are really quiet on the road and a really good tyre Thumbs Up NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. Paul,

BFG don't do the classic muds any more but they do the KM2s but check the pattern as it is different and you might not like tham (They re quieter on the road though). The Khumo muds that Steve has for sale are an awesome tyre- it was my second choice if I couldn't find the BFG muds I have on mine......but as before it is ideal that you go for a wider rim for 285s even though loads of people are running them on boosts.

As for Boost not looking good, I think that Phil's utility looked awesome when up the Lakes the other day. A coat of black paint and spacers and they looked like a set of aftermarket rims

Glyn

P.S. I have some good pictures of your wagon from the Lakes and will be getting them up in the next couple of days. Very Happy
