They just look like M8 bolts with a square roofing bolt nut. Are there no fasteners suppliers close to you? |

They look perfect - I'll get on to those. They didn't come up on any of my searches. I did find some square roofing bolts locally but they didn't have a tensile rating. 300 TDi 110 CSW |

Roofing bolts are hardly likely to have a decent tensile rating on them. I believe Gwyn Lewis has the correct Bolts

It's only the nuts that are square, grade 8 should be easy to source, then just normal HT 8.8 bolts, again you should have no problem sourcing these locally.

The way a winch is mounted there will be no stripping of the bolts it would be a shearing force on the bolt. The nut is just holding the bolt in position so it's the bolt is where the tensile strength is needed
