Used to move empty trailers round quite a bit years ago and take them to the local dealers for jobs to be done on them, new tyres etc. A mate of mine got pulled up(eventually) driving a Peugeot 504 pick up with a tonne bag of fertiliser in the pick up and a further 5t on a trailer, a 40' artic trailer with a steering bogie plus a mid mounted Hiab. He was more racked of because it had taken ages for him to get it rolling then he found 2 coppers stopping him! They ended up just giving him a roadside rollicking as they thought nobody would believe the paperwork. There is a you tube video with a newish Range Rover towing a 10t silage trailer being loaded on the move somewhere in Ireland. Say no more

That's the one I was thimking about, yep I got the country wrong, they're the ones that were left behind as they couldn't swim. There have been others over the years and more before camera phones
I once rolled a field with a gang set of cambridge rolls with one of those old Direhatsu Fourtracks, not the more modern 2.8 ones, mine was an F50, looked like an overgrown Suzuki SJ410 with a copy of the BMC 2.5 diesel in it. I got caught out after I had folded them up and was taking them back to the yard down one of the farm tracks just as the boss was coming the other way on his horse with the rest of the local hunt There was a fair amount of ribbing for both of us for ages afterwards. |

Yeh they are, that's only half of them! We've got 6 JD7930's at the moment, think we're gonna sell them before the summer though get a fleet of 7280r's for next year.
We're a straw contractor and we run 8 balers, 4 chasers, 2 fastracs and 3 JCB loadalls. We have an 8345r as well which we do cultivations with for bits and bobs.. It's all good fun!!! Get your photos up!!! Cheers Doug |

34 combines? Amazing. I was just reading about a farmer in Hungary who has 1700 acres, farms 9000 acres and contracts another 50,000!!! He runs 6 x Lexions, 15 tractors and has 14 staff. The best bit is that he as a chef in an hotel until 1996!
