What do you listen to in your Defender?
Lately there have been a lot of updates on audio systems or 'ICE' as it is known, have we got a group of techno-ravers on the forum or are everyone upgrading so they can get the most out of their ' Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber' album.

Myself - it has to be Country (new country not 'Wife has left me and took my truck' stuff) followed closely by Rock.... not too keen on that pop rubbish they play nowerdays......

I wissh it could be set up so that you could select 2 or 3 options but doesn't look like that is possible so vote for your 'most listened to'.

First vote for Rock, mainly CD's.... Here in Switzerland or neigbouring France radio stations do not even know what the word "rock" means. Big Cry
For radio stations, how I miss the days that we lived in the USA... "This is 97.5..... the Rock....."

Edit: Forgot to say, even more often than listening to rock music, I listen to the Puma engine... Thumbs Up You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

like you say, I think everyone listens to a variety of music. Myself I'm a product of the 90's rave scene, but love listening to Absolute 80's radio. Love bands like U2, simple minds, inxs, etc as a limited example. Music was music then, and most of the last decade IMO has been publicized self hyped drivel.(x factor covers etc) Some good stuff sprinkled in though. To quote a certain DJ on radio 1 on friday nights though -'I still believe the best is to come'. You sort of have to agree, else there would be no future. Think its just the good new stuff is rarer and stands out more because of the amount of drivel thats produced. Whistle

Rock, though I listen to HF radio more.

I never listen to radio stations, I don't ever plug the antenna in! I like to be in control of what I listen to and hate radio adverts.

Mostly the whine off the running gear, or the crunch of the gearbox when cold or even the hypnotic to and fro of the windscreen wipers followed by the exciting prospect of guessing where they are going to stop once switched off. Then when that eventually gets boring....Radio 2. Very Happy
