Black Chequer Plate
My existing silver chequer plate was heavily tarnished and scratched and I wasnt really feeling it. So swapped it yesterday for the black version. The previous owner bonded it the car so was a right pig to remove. Happy with the results though.

Before and after photos.

Looks fab.
I did that to mine when I first bought the car. I cleaned and powder coated the silver for £85 and the difference was stunning. Don't forget the plates on the steps though.
Black window blocks, grill badge and aerial next I reckon.
... and don't listen to the rest of them who think bonnet checker looks good.

Thanks all,

I went for the mammoth chequer plate and got it from Keith Gott. Not sold on the bonnet chequer plate. I was thinking of getting these wheels:

Has anybody got them as my only concern is the weight rating at 1025kgs, will this be ok or do I just get my 16" painted in gloss black?

What do you mean by Window Blocks, is this the area under the windscreen?
