Did you cut into the cabin heater circuit so that the Webasto can take control when it gets the water temp up to a certain temp? If so, it's probably nothing to worry about.

Check fuse 29, 20amps and fuse 42, 10amps in the main fuse box. Also the Relay for the Compressor clutch Air conditioning (A/C) (R181) and the relay for the cooling fan R117. Check the connections at the A/C compressor on top of the engine and the ac switch pack located under the centre console on LHS. The PCM will log P0480 if there is an issue with the cooling fan as it is used on A/C models as part of the engine overheating protection strategy.

so checked a few things - fuses OK, a/c relay OK and compressor audibly kicks in with a momentary drop of engine revs. Couldn't get the a/c fan to kick in - probably 'cause it is so cold. will 'hard wire' it to see if it is operational when i get a minute. Going in for a service soon - will get LR to give it a once over.
DTC still showing......at least it is the only one ![]() Thanks |
