Hiccups ?
Driving along today..flat road 40 ish mph 4th gear and the defender has what can only be described as a massive hiccup..just the one. Got out, checked eveywhere, nothing fallen off...done another 30 or do miles without any problems...anyone else had this or any idea what might cause it?

You've obviously overlooked the bit in the handbook where it says that after filling up you have to spend a few minutes patting it on the back Wink Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]

Mine did exactly the same thing twice - first time was on the way home from the dealers when it was new (so you can imagine what I thought - "Oh no, here we go, welcome to Land Rover!"). Then it did it a second time about a week later, since then - nothing! My thought was maybe muck in the fuel line?

Cheers, and good luck!
Thumbs Up
