Thank you
It's a combination of the original seat box and MDF. I was thinking, having read your ideas on subs, that in place of the plastic 'bin' on the end I could turn that 'hole' into an 8" sub enclosure and then copy Glyns idea of paneling the rear and setting the 6 x 9's into that. The plan is to lay the seats flat when turning up loud because I'd be on my own anyway |

It doesn't, as its infill sound, just thinking practicability. if your 4 up still have the stereo on without someone getting an interesting ride. My active sub sits behind the middle seat and when were 3 up the wife gets kicked in the back by it and on long journeys it don't work. also 6x9 want equal boxes for best results. I also think you'll want tweeters up front. I did .

The loudest 4" speakers include removable tweeters so that's sorted.
I have a 150w Kenwood sub in the SVX-a-like on one side behind a passenger seat and it sounds OK without bothering the passenger but I agree a bigger sub maybe a problem, hmmmm ..... |

If it is on a separate amp you could always disable the sub when transporting passengers....... or as lots of amps have controllers so it is as easy as just twisting a knob to reduce the gain on the amp.

Anything is possible chaps just depends how far you want to go with it. Fitting some big subs would require some pretty extreme modification but I'd choose the floor area or similar a lot of work what ever option you choose but get a pen and paper and have some brain storming. Watching Overhaulin' or Custom My Ride on Sky could help with ideas too. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
