Waiting for Landrover Assist!! :-(
currently sat waiting for Landrover Assist, Big Cry

engine management light came on yesterday, called LRA and was told it was fine "probably just the emissions sensor and fine to drive, it will go out if the engine is running fine"

Engine was running fine so did as they said and sure enough the light went out and alllll good.....

Just drove out the village.....and BINGO light comes back on and engine looses power..... Big Cry

awaiting the landrover doctor......

Hope they fix it in time for the lake trip on the 31st Shocked

Ok so LRA arrived in 15 mins so hats off for response time on this occasion Smile

Apparently it was a known fault and needed the Q068 software update "engine lacks power and malfunction indication (MIL) on" which has been discussed on another thread at length.

software downloaded and im on my way Bow down

They updated my software last week for that. I got the loss of power but no MIL. It is a recall so you should have been notified that it had to be done.

Glad you're all sorted now - those LR assist guys are pretty good in my opinion. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
+ New Defender 110 First Edition

The recall was issued in August along with a note stating all new vehicles should be updated prior to handover.....seen as i didnt buy mine till 1st september mine should have been done but clearly not Laughing

Oh well....all sorted now and to be honest ive noticed an improvement in acceleration and smoothness Very Happy

So just been out for a play on the hills to celebrate Whistle
