Current status of Houndkirk Road (Peaks)
As title, I fancy a leisurely drive on the weekend and might pop up to Houndkirk, have a spot of grub, do some photo stuff and come home?

I understand it was resurfaced a while back and although the antis are still pushing for it to be closed, it assume it's all still open and good to go. Craig Rogers

Ah yeah! Sunday for the PT.....

Not sure what's going on yet for the weekend. I'm out on Sat morning on the bike, but Sunday still not sure what's going on. Misses wants to go to a place up near Buxton, so, if I end up doing that, was thinking popping up to Houndkirk.

Pump track does sound better though! Mr. Green Craig Rogers

That was done over 2 years ago and none of it remains, nor any of the boulders either.

I didnt do the full length, just the first stretch from Fox House pub. It was a nice drive over there in the blizzard conditions, made a nice change to be able to actually overtake a few cars, mostly BMW's

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green
