I fitted one of these. Its designed for the earlier models so it has to be mounted further back on the 07my (because of the gear leavers). Basically drill new holes and fit as normal. They may have re-designed them to fit the 07my by now.

Not yet but I'm thinking of fitting a Mobile Storage Systems box which looks very similar to Andrew's link.

If your 90 XS is a Puma then the Mobile Storage Systems (MSS) cubby (the best made and most expensive I believe), cannot have the cup holders on the front due to the position of the gear stick. If you want the cup holders then you'll have to drill two new holes so it can be positioned slightly further back. You'll need to decide exactly what configuration you want from them and then get a quote. Fitting is a two-person job I understand as a bar is fitted underneath between the seat boxes. Maybe one day LR will produce a Cubby with a lock on it, and made from steel instead of chipboard or whatever. Hope this is of some assistance. Trevor Wright '08 90 TDCi/TD4 XS SW |

There is no way you will fit it and be able to fit the cup holders, well not without it taking up space in the rear. As far as fitting is concerned I used the existing 4 rive-nuts that the original wooden cubby box used. So its a one person fit. I will take some pictures.

I've got this one in my 90, albeit with a retrimmed lid to match the seats:
It's got a 3 point security lock internally, with a lip all the way round the top so it can't be crowbarred open. It's more basic (less fussy ) than the MSS one, ideal if you don't need a CB or radio fitment. |

Can anyone tell me how to remove the orginal cubby in a puma? Is it just the 2 bolts that are accessed under the cupholders? If so, is it a special screwdriver i need?

Yeah and they are torck screws so u need a torcksscrewdriver ... Im from belgium and thats how we call them |

Andrew, what are all those switched on the lower part of your dash?? I assume you have added those? If a job is worth doing....

Lights mate 2 pairs of roof spots, left and right rack mounted work lights, rear mounted work light, front warning lights and rear warning lights. I think thats it |
