If I remeber correctly you can choose to have the white lettering on the inside of your rims and therefore the non painted side on the outside

Up to around 2000 Land Rover had a deal with BFG for NO white lettering on the all-terrains fitted on their Defenders and BFG lost the contract and that is why they come with Ice Cream van General Grabbers. The previous poster is 100% correct in saying only one side has the white lettering giving the buyer the choice of how flash they want to be! 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Cheers guys. I never liked the lettering on the BFG's and even the option of having the tyres inside out is not particularly appealing that is why I stayed with the general grabbers. I'm sure there is a way to have the white lettering scrubbed off. Laughing '08 LR Defender 110

265/75/16 Cooper STTs have been fantastic - yes they're MTs, but the rounder shape seems to make them more civilised for daily use (they're actually quieter than the square shaped STs) - a softer ride than the TRs but marginally noisier) - money well spent.
