newbee advice
hi all

first post since signing up though watching from afar so i get the gist

picking up 08 130 next week and looking for info re anything specific to get looked at re transmission etc. been away from landys for a long time so not up to date with modern equipment (and problems) Embarassed

i realise from following here that there are some issues so appreciate help and advice

There's nothing specific you need to get looked at. drive it around a bit and report what you think. if it's an 08, you still have years left on the warranty so you can get anything sorted later.

Worth driving it for a couple of weeks before you leap to any conclusions or panic - you have to get used to the peculiarities of any Defender (as you no doubt remember).

Looking forward to seeing the pics Thumbs Up One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

as a kid with my dad i was up to elbows in everything series and through teens on 90/110. loved them then no doubt the saddle will feel good again!

not used to creature comforts though except for japs (sorry Big Cry )

cant wait to be honest.

will post as soon as i receive and figure out how to upload pics.
