Hi Custom90steve
I kind of looking for silimar specifications as BP Bluetooth to avoid to connect through cable to the ipad and listen music and at the same time that telephone sincronize on the hands free parrot functions , i pressume this is possible isnดt? 4x50 RMS sound like more than enough to me however i already have an amplifier that has Low pass filter and High pass filters, i will use this to energize the sub, nothing crazy just to give a little bit of "touch". I looking to connect this amp through a RCA rather to the speaker level as i believe that will improve the quality, i know it is a defender... so, this make sense to you. you are a big fan of kenwood i still have my M85 midi working and has a few years on it already. |

If only my Denon DCT-Z1 didn't look so out of place in the Puma. For me that is the ultimate sounding head unit IMHO, I just wish Denon would start making head units again.

This is what is the forum about isnดt To share the knowledge, you know what, do not worry long time ago were a few persons that almost got cremated because they state that blood circulates inside the body (Miguel servet) or even other guy to speak about heliocentrism ( Nicolas copernico). anyway cheers |

Steve, no problem at all, I have no intention of starting a slanging match. I'd just prefer it if you kept your 'helpful and useful information' accurate and confined to facts, that's all. Pete |

Oh Dear
I'm about to change (not sure if its an upgrade) current unit is the Kenwood KIV700 great unit faultless and no CD Mech It will be exchanged for a Mechless internal DAB with Bluetooth streaming (not sure whats out there) To be frank BT phone connection is a waste of time as you stuggle to hear and receipients hear you (Not a fan of talking and driving) so I use a Bose BT NR Headset |

XS - What I have said is a true fact for me. Just because I don't have pictures to prove it does not mean it isn't true. I had an Alpine HU a year or two ago and the iPod lead connector just cracked by being a rubbish brittle plastic. And I don't mean the plug that goes into the iPod / iPhone I mean the connection between the iPod cable and the HU cables to the rear. It was a silly little odd shaped with with minute pins in it. Where as Kenwood use a USB to USB and 3.5mm jacks for audio and the same for video. Never had an issue with those. Also the front buttons being the same horrible plastic that felt to describe it best "loose" in the fascia. Of course anyone is welcome to buy one if the so choose and probably the expensive models aren't like that but I could never recommend one from my point of view. If they choose to then fair enough. If they like it even better.
Ken - There's plenty of DAB units out there to choose from. I dare not make any further suggestions. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

Ken - Have a look see here:
Just Kenwood DAB Two options there. The third down I believe some members on here actually have that exact unit and were very pleased with it so I heard from their feedback. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

Steve, fair enough, I'm sure it's true, but a sample of one is no basis on which to suggest an epidemic quality problem with these things, or call into question the reputation of a company! Pete |
