10 x 8 are no way as popular as the 20's, i do quite a bit of empty container moving for people such as your self so i'll keep eyes and ears at the ready, what's your rough spend figure ?? Dave

Hi, dont want to nick the thread
Ric but Skippy, are they easy enough to get moved around? how far from the road/drive can they be placed? guessing its done by a hi-ab sort of thing, have thought about a container before for storage but dont want it in the middle of the garden Ta. Never lost, just found a new way to get there! |

HIABS come in a variety of reaches and containers can be easily moved further with a JCB/Loader

I have a hiab lorry that I do transport with, yes they can be placed over fences / walls etc but as me@td5 says it depends on size of container for weight purpose as to what size of crane you need to get it to your desired position.Obviously the nearer you can get to final resting place the better Dave

Hi All,
I/ve got three all steel(corrugated) shipping containers here in Runcorn, Cheshire. They are all the same and measure 19x7.5x8 feet internal. Have used them for storage for the past 3 years. Very handy to have(if you have the space). If you are interested PM me and I will try and post some photos. If you're stuck for transport I can ask a transport company I use with big HIAB mounted lorries to give a quote. Cheers smb |

Thanks Dave. Can yuo move 20 and 40 foot or only 20 foot ? I have a few options to think about size wise so am still working out the best option for me and the space i have.
PS any idea what this trailer is worth without the container ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-ft-shipping-c..._232wt_950 Pete |

Being blunt....probably best to scrap it, wheels will sell as will lights/ landing legs etc, chassis then could be weighed in.
Or just re-advertise, a farmer could by it. I can't do 40" just the 20"s, Dave 98 'S' 90 300Tdi (sold) 07 D3 HSE (now sold) 1993 Scania 143 450 (should have kept that ! ) |
