I'm going back to BFG AT as I find them a bit noisy on the road. Not a bad tyre in mud and snow.
As soon as I get the new wheels fitted I'll be selling a set of 4 Freestyles with 265/75 ATZs |

I had a set of 265/75x16 BFG KM2's and AT's on mods and sold them after fitting the Mickey Thompson 305/70x16 ATZ's. Very good in the snow and ice and superb in the wet, needs to be a deep puddle before you feel the tug. So impressed with them that I also got a set of 265 MTZ's for the boosts. White lettering on one side and the bigger the better IMHO, especially in the soft sand of the surf when recovering my boat. So I will go bigger once these wear down, eventually

Steve, fekete is running large MTZ's on his Puma so might be worth giving him a pm for his thoughts as he had Coopers on previously.

Are ATZ available at the moment? Silverline had some shortages IIRC.

Steve, I,m running the Mtz and there a really good tyre mate..... Very good in the mud ... I had the coopers on before and was really made up with them but found They slip a lot on rocks......with the Mickey's I get better traction in all conditions ...... Also a good tyre in the wet on tarmac for a Mtz...... Hope this helps NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

Silverline told me the same thing when I wanted to order the MTZ's. Apparently the factory is moving from dirty to clean oil in the production of their new tyres.
Devon 4x4 had the MTZ's in stock and are showing the tyres Steve is after as being in stock also. http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?page=sho...;Itemid=14 |
