Things to do after a stiff drink

Well last night, I had the choice of either plucking two pheasants or replacing the belt on a tumble drier. Both of these require a stiff snifter beforehand. So, I went for the latter. I hadn't realised when I purchased the belt on the Internet that this would require the total dismantling of the drier, otherwise the pheasants would have been the choice. It is no wonder that ref the Gorenje WT 881 condenser drier there are no publicised instructions on how to replace the belt, as you have to dismantle the whole apparatus and create a total rebuild from this. So, after two hours I had the machine down to parts and commenced rebuilding. Leaving the power on. As the cable was routed behing the kitchen cabinets which would have involved dismantling the kitchen. Things were looking reasonable when I finally attached the belt to the drum and pulley when the machine slipped downwards and in trying to lift it back up again I received a large shock as my right hand was touching a live red wire on the timer and my left hand was on the metal casing. After my teeth had stopped rattling and I regained use of my limbs, I noticed that the belt was fixed incorrectly to the pulley which meant another dismantling and rebuild. So. I went to bed.
At 0345 hrs this morning I was under the impression that I was having a heart attack, due to a stiff chest pain, on my left hand side. So, I turned over to sleep on the other side as this was better. Then, still alive i went to work, where I was clobbered by a large pole from a curtainsided truck on my head resulting in another select choice of words and a large lump on my head. So, tonight, still having the choice of plucking two pheasants, or replacing the belt...I decid

You'd soon buy some new Lanny bits without a second thought....sort it!!

Blow torch the feathers off whilst doing the belt at the same time. Let me know what time i'll pop round and record it. We could potentially make a mint from the well known 'let's feed off everybody's misfortune' television programmes! What could possibly go wrong?????

I think it is a good idea to remain calm when one has a heart attack. Calling 112 is a good idea also.

Plucking

Lie them on there back wings out stand on wings grab legs pull towards head hey presto two breasts chuck the rest away

Went to a great event run by CLA with guest chefs cooking game for us.
Pheasant breasts seared to seal them and chopped over a bed of finely sliced courgette and parsnip, blood oozing and mixing with the redcurrant sauce.

Even better than that was the rabbit casserole with chocolate and stale bread dumplings

But Ken you probably need to cut back on alcohol and rich food if it gives you indigestion
