I use:
RainX... Reduces the need for wipers and stops bugs sticking. Good screen wash (smells of apples too ). As for blades, I went for a set of cheaper make similar to the 'Bosch Aerotwins'. They are sooooo much better once the weather comes in and you get build up of ice on the windscreen. Glyn |

I bought the cheap aero wipers on ebay the last time I needed some... Won't be buying them again. Only lasted a month or so before they started smearing.. Just popped a set of Bosch wipers back on mine. £6 each from Halfords.. Could probably have got them cheaper, but £6 each isn't exactly bank busting! ... ,-------, .. I [__][_]|__ .. I __ |"_|"__| .. I'd say that was a good price actually. Never thought I'd say that about anything from Halfrauds. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

They don't ship outside UK.... I found some Bosch on ebay for £5...but some stores charge £30 for postage! Now those aerotwins (genuine ones) look nice...even with postage they'll cost 13.00 each... Confused now! Surely someone on here in the Uk will be willing to sort you out... all they would have to do is get them and then take them to the Post Office.

Another vote here for Rain-X and the imitation Aerotwins from eBay. I think I paid a fiver delivered for the last pair over a year ago and they're still really good.
I've also started using the Rain-X interior anti mist stuff on the inside of the glass, and that also works well, especially this time of year. Pete |

Normal (e.g. Bosch) blades and RainX
Bought SilBlades a year ago and threw them away 2 weeks later - too much smearing with winter wash fluid. Word of advice for idiots like me - do not apply Rain-X when it's -5 outside. It takes hours to scrape off again Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Hey lrmaniac, I'm about to get a bosch for my rear window as fed up with having to keep it on for 10 mins before it eventually clears all the streaks!!
Like Glyn says if you like I'll get you a set and stick them in the post? I'm sure it won't cost that much? I'm going post office today and ill find out if you like Cheers Doug |

You can apply Gtechniq G1 or G5 in low temps. G1 for more high speed and longevity, lasts about 18-24 months before reapplication. G5 low speed city and good for off road, last 3-4 months. Cheers Steve |
