Put the open cell under the sides, but reading other post decided against open cell in other areas as it is prone to water!!! Dynamat is water proof, and i have sealed the seams with aluminium waterproof tape so any water should sit on top. I decided on rubber matting as practical, wipe clean, and I have sealed the rubber to the dynamat with sikaflex. Hope fully it will all be water tight and I should be able to use the hose to clean it !!!

If your going to be hosing out the back you don't want any open cell foam as it will act like a sponge.

trapped water was the whole reason for choosing dynamat. I looked at the noisekioller kit, but thats open cell. The landy is used as a work vehicle, so it has to be practical.
