there are four screws that belong to the existing plate. You have to drill those holes in the box frame haven't you?
Do you use a regular metal saw to cut the plate? that's a nice kit! Yes I have, but you don't have to, there's room to fit the box 'inboard' of those screws if you want to. Yes, just a cheap £20 jigsaw with the metal blade that came with it is perfect. Thank you, much appreciated ![]() |

Fitted the X trouser door catches yesterday.
As advised in the instructions online I may have to pack the spacer out, typically all four of mine needed doing ![]() Also installed sound proofing in the rear and to the roof, pictures to follow ... The build is progressing slowly, I only get odd weekends to work on it and I'm being meticulous in every detail but I'm finding it fun and learning a fair bit at the same time ! Today's jobs include further Dynamat installing (really helps if you warm the sheets up first) and cutting the rear seat box to accommodate amps ![]() |

Sounds like its coming along nicely ! It's better to take your time and do it exactly as you want it, rather than wishing you'd done other things later on ! That's why it took me so long to do mine
