well I was working today and I'm always glad when xmas/NY stuff is all out of the way so we can all get back to normal. As I get older I find it takes a lot longer to recover from the Christmas excesses (about a month!)

I can't believe I've been a Def2 'user' now for two years. Its gone too quickly. I can't envisage anyone wanting to buy one of these amazing vehicles without the 'arm around the shoulder' advice, tips, info that this forum brings. Whenever I meet another owner I always tell them to join without delay.

And I second your opinion CR. Hurry up and buy another one, Zag ! You're missed ! Thumbs Up

Went to a friends house to celebrate with his and my gf. Got very drunk on Heineken and Absolut Peach vodka. Let off a load of fireworks prior to drinking (safety first). Suggested Jokily that we go to the strip club which my mates other half took....not very well and ushered him to bed while I had a nice cuddle with the Missus by the fire until we want to bed about 4.

I hugged the toilet this morning and couldn't eat my fried breakfast. Girlfriend drove the defender home with me at about midday as I still didn't feel up to it... No doubt same again next year but no more alcohol this month, I'm on the dryathalon.
