Busy today, fixed a faulty rear light on the 90 (bulb installed wrong way round by garage - cheers Gary) so that didn't take long.

Also installed the clarion subwoofer that Santa bought (as used in the svx I believe Thumbs Up ) slotted under the rear seat a treat and made a big difference to the sound (no surprise there). Easy enough to wire in as I had prepared the wiring when I put the head unit in.

Just need to decide on the best crossover settings as I have four options on both the hu and sub so a few to choose from! I guess it's just what sounds best.

Yesterday, had the fun of fitting a set of OME 751s and Koni adjustables to the front of the Ute. Now going over bumps is a privilege compared to before when it would make bumping/ knocking noises.

The standard springs really can't cope with the extra weight of a TJM roo-bar and winch!!

Had to get a jumpstart Embarassed A tadge embarrassing as everybody in my street comes to me usually but this time I had to call in a favour. Great I thought, I've Censored the alternator after the trip to the Plain yesterday even though there were no apparent problems on the 2 1/2hr journey home. I've had a similar thing happen before after a day out with my club at a pay and play day where I had a fair bit of winching. That I put down to pulling the only battery down and it not fully recharging. That showed itself the following morning at the first start up like todays episode and has been fine ever since, it's charging fine with no hiccups so we'll kust have to wait for the next time, the last time was over 12months ago, might think about replacing the battery this year, I think 10years is enough to ask of a battery Whistle
