Not to sound offensive, but 'Why?'
LSD: It can effect on-road driving in a slightly negative way (under steer). When off-road it does increase traction but not 100% of the wheels turning all the time- great for complimenting TC. ARB: Diff locks can be selected, so no adverse affect on-road as it turned off, and then is awesome off-road when turned on as they are then 100% wheels turning all the time. So....... If you have both in one package..... You get the not so good side-effects on-road but once off road you will then engage the lockers so LSD will be doing nothing. Question.......... How much do they cost? Glyn |

The kam is about £900 but I would only fit to the rear and have a normal air locker up front LSD can improve on road driving all the things I have read saying negativ things (under steer) are from people have fitted to the front so to stop this I won't fit it to the front

£900- is that +VAT, fitting etc? Remember that the KAM diff requires the original diff pan to be removed and a new one welding on to encase the solenoid (unless they have changed their design).
You will already have a compressor for the front, so why not just go ARB/ Ashcroft in the rear too? I think the price outweighs the benefit. There are hundreds if not millions of Land Rover Drivers out there who have either open diffs or lockers who don't feel the need for LSDs. It's not like the Defender is a performance car either- I have mine tuned up to the point the clutch slips and I can't get it to do anything crazy. I have never lost traction on the road where a LSD would have made any difference. Glyn |

Went for a looksie.....
http://www.kamdiffs.com/shop/kam431-lockin...binations/ Lovely bit of kit (I am a KAM fan)..... nearly had a sex wee. But £950+ VAT.... That is £1134 (plus delivery). Fitting will then cost in the region of £150-200 due to the labour involved (unless you can do it yourself). For less you can have an ARB fully built up with HD R&P and pegged ready to slot straight in. Glyn |
